Wrestling fans can now witness the pioneering events from the first
kids pro wrestling league to ever exist.

SCHOFIELD, WI - January 17, 2005 - NWF Films announced today that they
have released a new DVD series that features original footage from the
major live public events that were held at the Anoka Armory back in
1986 and 1987, which showcased "NWF Kids Pro Wrestling". The NWF was
the first of its kind, a group of kids that ran their very own
professional wrestling league nearly twenty years ago.

In 1984, most 14 year-olds were watching MTV or playing Atari
videogames. Shawn Crossen, however, was not like most 14 year-olds.
What began as a dream turned into reality when Crossen and his friends
started their very own professional wrestling league, the National
Wrestling Federation (NWF). They also shot, edited, and produced a
weekly cable television show called "The Kids Pro Wrestling Show",
which was viewed by thousands of people each week in cities all across
the nation. "We were the pioneers," says former child wrestler and
league creator Shawn Crossen. "We were the first group of kids to
have done anything like that and be successful with it."

Shawn Crossen, who was the brains behind the successful endeavors of
the NWF, has now formed NWF Films. With over 100 hours of NWF
Wrestling archives in its collection, NWF Films will start off with
the release of four exciting DVD's in a series known as "The Anoka
Armory Series". This new series features the four major events that
Shawn Crossen promoted at the famed Anoka Armory event center back in
1986 and 1987 where they drew hundreds of loyal fans to witness the
live events. The now historic events were the first of their kind
that ever featured kids performing professional wrestling in the
squared circle.

Unlike "backyard wrestling" which is now so commonly seen today, the
wrestling show that Shawn produced was on a much different playing
field. "The backyard wrestling leagues that exist today are really
based on violence, blood, and pain. But back twenty years ago, the NWF
was based on sportsmanship, teamwork, and showmanship" says Crossen.
There's something to be said for that, as there was never a negative
newspaper article written about the NWF back in those days. The same
cannot be said for the backyard wrestling that exists today.

The DVD releases feature footage from the recently published book "Pro
Wrestling Kids' Style" (NWF Books, January 2005, ISBN: 1879000121,
.99), where author Shawn "Crusher" Crossen tells his incredible
life experiences in running the NWF Kids Pro Wrestling Show during his
teenaged years. It is an in-depth and personal look at the problems
and obstacles Crossen encountered on the way to making the NWF a
success. The book will inspire children and adults alike and shows
just how far a kid with a dream can go.

The four titles: "Superstars Spectacular '86", "Summer Sizzler
Extravaganza", "The Fall Brawl", and "Superstars Spectacular '87" have
a suggested retail price of .99 each and can be purchased through
Amazon.com or from the NWF's homepage at http://www.nwfwrestling.net
