PHOENIX, AZ - July 13, 2007 - With the products she conceived and
developed now being highlighted in national publications, local
entrepreneur Cynthia Drasler is working on the expansion of her
start-up company.
How Cynthia started her company, Organic Excellence, begins as the
story of a mother trying to help her child and ends with a successful
pharmaceutical sales rep chucking it all to start a company based on
her daughter’s needs.
Today the most popular items sold by Organic Excellence are chemical
free hair and skin products with organic herbs. Organic Excellence is
a growing company in Phoenix and locally creates a variety of
environmentally safe home and industrial cleaners along with their
health and personal care products.
“My conversion from a strong believer in conventional medicine to a
manufacturer of chemical-free products with organic herbs was a slow
process,” notes Cynthia Drasler,MBA- CEO and founder of Organic
Excellence. “The first step was hearing my clients, the medical
oncologists to whom I sold chemotherapy drugs, tell me that more and
more cancers are environmentally caused - that surprised me because of
all the effort we have made as a country to clean up the environment.”
But, the real turning point was when Cynthia’s two-year old daughter
had a bad skin reaction to a clown’s face painting. As she says, “I
needed to put my actions where my heart was. I needed to help my
daughter.” Thus began an education as Cynthia noted and researched
chemical ingredients in products used routinely in our homes. She has
appeared on numerous Phoenix TV shows including Sonoran Living, Good
Morning Arizona, Arizona Midday Show, and The Early Morning Show. Also,
she has been featured in Time Magazine, Woman’s World Magazine,
Investor Business Daily and BizArizona Magazine. She is fast becoming
a local expert on chemicals in personal care products and is
increasingly sought after as a speaker. She even hosts an internet
radio show called “Chemical Free Living”(R) that has thousands of
listeners. Hers is a classic entrepreneur’s tale with many ups and
downs. Her path from starting as a local Arizona company to becoming
a national company is full of hard work and initiative but, it
