LONG LAKE, MN - June 7, 2005 - Mosquitoes, black flies (biting gnats),
ticks and other bugs have menaced humans for thousands of years.
Mainly an annoyance in the past, they can now carry exotic diseases
causing a serious public health issue to emerge. Mosquitoes and ticks
transmit West Nile Virus, Lyme disease, malaria, encephalitis, Dengue,
Rift Valley Fever and other diseases. The United States Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) approves and regulates insect repellents in
the United States. Buggspray Insect Repellent carries EPA approval
and is the only repellent that can claim, "Repels mosquitoes that may
transmit West Nile Virus, encephalitis, malaria, or Dengue fever".

"Over 60 percent of the population does not use any kind of insect repellent.
The CDC wants people to protect themselves with something and has just
recommended two new ingredients. They note the protection is narrow
and short-lived but DEET continues to be the gold standard in the
repellent industry," explained Brian Weekley, a chemical engineer at
Bugg Products LLC. "I suggest consumers try some alternatives to the
traditional market leaders, including our Buggspray, and see what
works best for them."

Buggspray is available in two 25-percent DEET formulas: Buggspray
Original (EPA Reg. No. 67867-4) and Buggspray for Biting Flies (EPA
Reg. No. 67867-5). The Original formula has a clean, powdery scent
like vanilla and works great on mosquitoes as well as biting gnats
(black flies). Buggspray for Biting Flies has no fragrance but
contains two EPA-registered fly repellents and a synergist. It
provides even better protection from mosquitoes and works on larger
biting insects such as stable, deer, and horse flies.

Bugg Products LLC is located in Long Lake, Minnesota. Their products
are sold mainly in the upper Midwest at retailers such as Cub Foods,
Holiday Stationstores, Coborns/Cashwise, Byerlys & Lunds, Walgreens,
and Ace Hardware. For more information, visit http://www.buggspray.com
